Title:	Holcomb-Naselle Transmission Line Rebuild
Description:	The Bonneville Power Administration is proposing to rebuild the 21-mile-long Holcomb-Naselle 115-kilovolt (kV) Transmission Line located in Pacific County, Washington. The line was constructed in 1949; deteriorating wood-pole structures and other components need to be replaced to maintain reliable electrical service. The rebuild work would include removal and replacement of existing electrical wires (conductors), and replacement of about 50 of the 160 wood-pole structures along the line. The conductors would be strung to a higher tension and an overhead ground wire would be replaced one mile outside of the Holcomb and Naselle substations. BPA is conducting an environmental review to understand the potential environmental impacts of this proposed line rebuild. The environmental review will analyze anticipated impacts to natural and human resources and will help identify mitigation measures that would avoid or minimize impacts caused by the proposed work. Your comments will help BPA determine additional issues that should be addressed in the environmental review. BPA also will work with federal, state and local agencies, Tribes, potentially affected landowners, and other interest groups.
