We are AGAINST further graft and corruption in the guise of rate increases, especially those billed to PUD customers! This is illegal and unwarranted. BPA has been previously beaten in court for trying to grift money they were not entitled to from PUD. This current proposed rate increase is yet another episode in the saga of corporate greed [profit at ANY cost]. BPA has failed to keep costs down; instead, as with many other current corporate schemes, upper echelon employees/execs get overpaid and under-watch-dogged. Keeping costs down is ESPECIALLY CRITICAL during the current financial crises our entire country is experiencing. Corporations cannot get blood from turnips; doing so will cause further economic collapses, especially in poorer districts such as Grays harbor County, WA. STOP the madness! Start looking within PBA to find ways to economize. Let any BPA execs and employees making over $100,000 per year take some huge cuts. We personally cannot cut any further without shutting off the Frankenstein switch and freezing in the dark! We are in plenty of good, yet poor, company. Most of the country's population subsists on far less than $100,000 per year! We have 4 adults [3 disabled] trying to subsist on under $35,000 per year. And YOU want to raise OUR rates?!?!? MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SHAME ON YOU ALL! Better you get with the idea of corporate responsibility and accountability, and take a look at your own internal [infernal?] "budgets", and STOP STEALING FROM THE POOR! Dear Heavens! How in creation can you even sleep at night? |
