Comment: I represent 200 of the 300 union members who have been laid off since November of 2009. The curtailment of CFAC has been immensely hard on the workers, the valley, and the state Of Montana. Studies, have proven for every CFAC job it creates seven fold in jobs elsewhere in the valley. I urge you to consider a power agreement with CFAC, to insure better paying jobs in a area which desperately needs a economic boost. I also would like to comment on the environmental concerns in which people have had over the years. Since 1955, people have voice concerns. Anaconda, Arco, and CFAC have spent millions of dollars to be in compliance with emissions. From high tech scrubber systems, to ensuring manpower to do his and her part in minimizing emission control. We have all worked very hard over the years to help our environment, after all we live here too. This aluminum plant was built 30 miles from a national park, we've had to our part in protecting the air, and water of this national resource. Fifty four years we've protected it, and look forward to protecting in years to come. Brian M. Doyle President of Local 320 USW
