Keeler - Tillamook Line Rebuild Project

The following comments were submitted in response to the open comment period described below.

The Bonneville Power Administration proposes to rebuild the Keeler to Tillamook transmission line located between Hillsboro and Tillamook, Ore. The high voltage electric transmission line was built in the late 1950s and BPA needs to replace wooden poles, hardware and the transmission wire to maintain reliable electrical service and to avoid safety risks both to the public and transmission line workers.

Your feedback will help us prepare an environmental assessment for the project. BPA invites the public to participate during the environmental review to ensure well-informed decisions and that we meet our responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act.
